Federal Government Issues Urgent Warning Ahead of Somaliland's Crucial Election Tomorrow!

Mogadishu (Bulacle.com) - The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Somalia has issued a press release emphasizing the importance of tomorrow's presidential election in Somaliland, which is set to be a direct contest among three parties: Kulmiye, Wadani, and UCID. Candidates Muse Bihi, Abdiraham Irro, and Faisal Ali Warabe are vying for the presidency.

The Federal Government has taken a proactive stance, urging the Somaliland Election Commission to ensure secure and orderly election administration to avert potential chaos following the results.

"The Ministry of Interior calls on the Somaliland Elections Committee to ensure that the election administration is in safe hands," the statement read, highlighting the election's significance for Somalia's governance and development.

This warning follows critical remarks from President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who acknowledged the recurring nature of elections in Somaliland and the challenges they pose.

As the election campaign wraps up, all eyes are on Somaliland as voters prepare for a pivotal day tomorrow, November 13.
